I NEED HELP WITH CUSTOM SIZE TANGO SHOES, CAN YOU HELP? I HAVE A VERY WIDE FEET!

Yes, we can accommodate very wide feet that are within our shoe size range. The first thing to do is to send your measurements outline, a picture of your feet and a short video if possible to custommadetangoshoes@gmail.com. We will analyze the data to find a shoe-last closer to your feet size and customize your shoes from there.

WILL MY SHOES STRETCH?

Keep in mind that it is normal when trying the shoes, to feel that they are a bit rigid and hard because they are new. Remember that with the use, the fibers give and soften especially if the shoes are genuine leather.

CAN YOU SOLVE MY MEDICAL FOOTWEAR NEEDS?

We'd love to, but we are not medical professionals and can't offer the specific expertise and training that your provider can. We want you to have happy healthy feet and focus on shoes that fit the shape and size and comfort of your feet. Please consult your provider if Salamanca HandMade Shoes would be appropriate for your needs first.

WHAT IS THE WIDTH BY DEFAULT OF YOUR BRAND?

Our shoes come a medium width by default. If you know yourself to have a rather super-wide or narrow feet, you may want to consider ordering shoes with a custom size. You are welcome to send me your measurements and foot outline scanned, if you would like my opinion.

DO YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL STORE WHERE I CAN TRY THE SHOES?

Yes, we have a showroom located in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. Our showroom is available by appointment only.


RETURNS

What is your return policy?

Do you offer an unconditional return on all purchases, along with a 100 percent refund, if a buyer isn’t satisfied? If so, do you also refund the shipping cost?

What is your deadline for returns? Are there different deadlines depending on the item?

Yes, there is a 30-day policy to receive the shoes counting from the delivery date. After 30 days, we will apply a 25% minimum late return fee.

What is the procedure for returns?

It is very simple, contact us within five business days after delivery. After we receive the eligible items, please allow three to seven business days to process the refund and be able to show it in your account or the original payment method. What is the address for returns?

We are located in the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan, New York. Please contact us to have the full address or let us know if you need us to send you a prepaid shipping label. The cost will be deducted from your total refund.

Can gifts be returned or exchanged without a receipt or packing slip?

Gift cards cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash. Otherwise, just follow our return process, and let us know the person who gifted you the shoes.

Are there policies to return or refund “on-sale” items?

Sale items price as $135.00 or below cannot be refunded. Otherwise, just follow our return process.

For a valid return, do items need to be in their original condition, in the original packaging, or with tags attached?

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Shoes with any signs of wear, including but not limited, to sweat and dirt, will not be accepted under any circumstance. No exceptions.

Please keep the protective film of the soles on and try on the shoes on a clean surface that you know the soles won’t be spoiled. Shoes with soles that are marked or scratched, even in a minor way, cannot be returned.

Please send the shoes back only after you have contacted us. In this way, we can find the best way to help you with your return. And please do so within five business days after delivery.

Is there a restocking fee?

No restocking fees. However, kindly read our Return and Refund page https://www.newyorktangoshoes.com/returns-and-refunds for the most updated information.

Who pays for shipping — you or your customer? Will you provide a shipping label?

In case, we make a mistake and your item is eligible for a return, we will cover the shipping costs both ways. Otherwise, you, the customer, is responsible for paying any shipping cost for returning the items. If you wish, we can send you a prepaid shipping label which will be deducted from your total refund. This option is only possible for orders within the continental United States.

Does the customer need to use your packaging or can they use their own?

You don't need to return it in original packaging.

Will the funds be deposited into their PayPal account (or other gateway)?

Yes. Please allow three to seven business days to process the refund and be able to show it in your account or the original payment method.


AFTERPAY

What is afterpay?

Afterpay is a service that allows us to offer our customers the ability to make purchases now and pay later in four equal installments, made every 2 weeks, without any interest.

Is there a Fee?

Afterpay is a free service offered by retailers to shoppers - there are no upfront fees charged or any interest incurred.

The only fees that may be incurred by shoppers are late fees if your scheduled payments are unsuccessfully processed and, after being notified, you do not log in to your Afterpay account to make your payment via a different method.

Late fees for shoppers in the USA are capped at 25% of the order value.

Do I have to pay interest?

There are no interest payments when using Afterpay.

Do they do a credit check?

There are no credit checks involved with the application process of Afterpay.

What products are not eligible for purchase using Afterpay?

Afterpay does not allow to pay for giftcards.

What is the maximum amount that I can order with Afterpay?

The maximum outstanding limit is $2,000, which is reserved only for customers who have previously demonstrated strong repayment capability behaviour over time with Afterpay. Otherwise, maximum per transaction is $1500.

What countries is Afterpay available?

We are currently accepting Afterpay for customers within the US.

Why was I not approved to use Afterpay?

  • Existing Afterpay agreement not yet paid off.
  • Card decline when setting up the first payment.
  • Late payments on previous Afterpay orders
  • Other reasons determined by Afterpay
