RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Salamanca Custom HandMade Tango Shoes are designed to make you dance better. It is our priority to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, for any reason, we will offer you a full refund or exchange within 30 days of delivering your shoes. *Some restrictions apply. 

*Restrictions

  • Because custom and personalized shoes are made just for you, they are not refundable.

  • We offer free shipping with purchase. Kindly know that in the case of a return, we will issue a refund minus the initial shipping costs of $15.00. Additionally, the buyer is responsible for any costs incurred for returning the item.

  • Sale items priced at $135.00 or below cannot be refunded.

  • Gift cards cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

eligibility

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • Shoes with any signs of wear, including but not limited, to sweat and dirt, will not be accepted under any circumstance. No exceptions.

  • Please keep the protective film of the soles on and try on the shoes on a clean surface so that you know the soles won’t be spoiled. Shoes with soles that are marked or scratched, even in a minor way, cannot be returned.

  • Please send the shoes back only after you have contacted us. In this way, we can find the best way to help you with your return. And please contact us within five business days after delivery.

Replacement Fee

  • Removing partially or fully the protective film of the shoes will incur a $15.00 replacement fee which will be deducted from your total refund.

Return Deadline

  • Make sure we receive the shoes within 30 days counting from the delivery date. After 30 days, we will apply a 25% minimum late return fee.

Notification

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

  • We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

    • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed minus a $15.00 return fee for each item. The refund credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

    • If your return is not accepted because it does not meet our eligibility criteria, we will ship the shoes back to you plus an invoice to cover the shipping fee. If we keep the shoes, we will issue a 50% refund back to you to cover our loss.

  • Please allow three to seven business days to process the refund and be able to show it in your account or the original payment method.

Shipping  

  • Only unused shipping costs that you have paid will be refunded.

  • If you wish, we can send you a prepaid shipping label for returning your items. The cost will be deducted from your total refund.

Exchanges

We are sorry we aren’t able to exchange orders at this time. Kindly return the original shoes to receive a refund. Then simply place a new order for the model you desire! Thank you so much!

Order modifications and cancelations

Custom-made or made-to-orders:

  • Modifications and cancellations are possible before our expert shoe artisans start crafting your order. There is a 48-hour window where we will contact you and work with you one on one to get you the best shoes adjusted to your needs. We will make sure we capture everything that you wish, and everything else that we feel is important to the success of your order. Once our shoe artist makers start working on your order, we cannot guarantee we can apply the new modifications less to cancel. In this case, we won’t be able to issue a refund.

Shoes in stock:

We can certainly change your order or cancel it for a full refund via email before we ship your shoes. After we ship your shoes, please follow the return process.

Guarantee

We are sorry it did not work out!  Your satisfaction is our #1 concern.

In case, we make a mistake and your item is eligible for a return, we will cover the shipping costs both ways. Please send us pictures showing the defect within 20 days of receiving your shoes. If this is something fixable by a local shoe repair near you, we will be happy to cover the costs of the repair plus 20% off your next order. In case the item cannot be repaired, we will make a brand-new pair of shoes for you. We appreciate your patience!
